At PBN Currency Solutions, we advise central banks on how to safely, profitably and quickly dispose of obsolete stock of coins and banknotes. We can purchase the entire stock and take care of all international freight and logistics concerns.
We advise central banks on commemorative banknote and coin projects, together with our network of industry partners—from the development of the initial idea, to design solutions, worldwide marketing and sales, financing solutions and production (printing).
Our multidisciplinary team provides complete solutions for central bank museums, from the initial case study, concept development, content and text creation, design and architecture, to the final supply of museum elements and installations.
We advise central banks on conversion to polymer banknotes and how to find the optimum mix of polymer substrate, security features, pricing and printer. Polymer banknotes increase security, durability and cleanliness of currency in circulation. They also bring significant cost savings, and reduce both logistics and processing requirements and environmental impact.
